Accuracy
We report only facts that appear in credible published reporting or that are well-established background knowledge. We do not invent quotes, figures or names. Where facts are disputed or uncertain, we say so.
Attribution
Every report names and links to the publication whose original reporting it draws on. Direct quotations are short, clearly marked and attributed to the person who said them.
Originality
Our reports are written in our own words, with our own structure and angle. Each draft is automatically compared with its source, and drafts that reuse too much of the original wording are rewritten or withheld. We never reproduce, adapt or license photographs from other publications or agencies; every lead image is generated by AI for its story.
Duplicate coverage
When several outlets cover the same event, we publish one report rather than many near-identical ones.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we correct it promptly. Rights holders who have concerns about any report can contact the editor, and we will review and, where appropriate, amend or remove it.
